The Bailey Chassis Company story dates back to the
late 1970's when Floyd Bailey, our founder and
president worked as the shop manager for Gambler
Chassis. It was at Gambler that Floyd had the
opportunity to work with some of the most talented
fabricators in the Sprint Car industry.
This experience led
Floyd to build his first Micro Sprint in the
basement of his house in 1983. In fact, this very
first Bailey car was featured in the March 1984
issue of Open Wheel Magazine!
Today, over 25 years
later, Floyd and his talented team of craftsmen
continue to lead the Micro and Mini Sprint racing
industry with cutting-edge designs and high quality
products.
Bailey Chassis
Company's five thousand square foot manufacturing
facility features several CNC machines to ensure
accuracy and repeatability. We custom machine both
our 1 3/4" and 2" aluminum rear axles in-house.
Almost every single component found on a Bailey
Micro and Mini Sprint is built right here in
Hendersonville, Tennessee. Some of the best open
wheel drivers got their start in a Bailey Chassis,
and this is a testament to the quality and
dependability of our products.
